The Palace Review: Week of 1st September

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, will receive a Land Rover Defender on behalf of the Braemar Mountain Rescue Association at Balmoral Castle.

2 September 2014

The Princess Royal will open the Lochmaddy Marina, Isle of North Uist, Inverness-shire. Whilst in Inverness-shire, The Princess as Royal Patron, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, will visit the Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig, Kingussie.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Peace and Prosperity Trust (The Duke), will attend the ‘Arabian Interlude’ Concert at Kensington Palace.

3 September 2014

The Princess Royal, will attend the 10th Scottish Police Memorial Service at Tulliallan Castle in Fife.

The Princess will also unveil the Sir Robert Watson-Watt Memorial, St. Ninians Square, Brechin, Angus. Also on Wednesday, Anne as Patron, The Scottish Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, will attend 75th Anniversary celebrations of the Citizens Advice Bureau in Aberdeen.

The Duke of Gloucester will visit the Croeserw Community Enterprise Centre, the South Wales Miners Museum and Afan Forest Park, Margam Discovery Centre and Mountain Biking Centre in West Glamorgan.

4 September 2014

The Princess Royal, Patron, International Sheep Dog Society, will attend the World Sheep Dog Trials at Fearn Farm in Ross-shire.

Anne, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, will also open the Strathbogie Group Cabin at Bog End Farm in Aberdeenshire.

The Duchess of Gloucester will visit Haven House Children’s Hospice, in Essex.

Princess Alexandra, President, will visit the Royal Star and Garter Homes in Surrey.

5 September 2014

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Association of Sail Training Organisations, will attend the Tall Ships Regatta and Reception on the British Sail Training Ship TENACIOUS at the Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier in London.
