In a new documentary from Sky One that will be aired tonight (Wednesday, 9 May), a close friend and agent of Meghan Markle claims that Meghan “can’t wait to be a mother.”
Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne recalled about travelling in the Cayman Islands for work with Meghan and their discussion on the future. Asking Meghan if she saw children in her future, Meghan replied: “I would absolutely love to have children, and I can’t wait to be a mother.”
During Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement interview, Harry commented on the possibility of a family, saying: “One step at a time and hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.”
In the same interview, Meghan revealed she was to give up acting.
“I don’t see it as giving anything up. I see it as a change. It’s a new chapter,” Meghan said. Then turning to Prince Harry and said, “Now it’s time to work as a team with you.”
Harry expressed his confidence in Meghan taking on the royal role and said they make a “fantastic team.”
Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne also spoke about Meghan’s excitement before her first date with Harry.
“Meghan and I were at lunch and she was really excited that day at lunch and I said to her you look fantastic Meghan. What’s going on in your life, you seem excited?” she remembered.
“And she [Meghan] said well yes, I have a date tonight. And I said really, with who, do I know him? And she said yes I’m sure you’ll know him, I’m meeting Prince Harry. In a whisper she sort of said it.
“And I said who? And she said, Prince Harry, I’m meeting Prince Harry tonight. And I said Prince Harry?!”
