Lady Amelia Windsor, the 36th-in-line to the British throne, joined Princess Olympia of Greece on the catwalk in Sicily last week as they modelled for Dolce & Gabbana.
Lady Amelia, who is the Duke of Kent’s granddaughter, walked down the catwalk wearing a headdress and was carrying a bag containing a loaf of bread.
She jokes: “When doing the groceries one must wear Alta Moda.”
The Edinburgh University student was joined by Princess Olympia of Greece who celebrated her 21st birthday last week.
On the catwalk, Princess Olympia appropriately modelled none other than a tiara.
Lady Amelia Windsor already has a successful modeling career and recently to the runway at the Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan, and also participated in a campaign for Penelope Chilvers, one of the favourite designers of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Lady Amelia is the third child of the Earl of St. Andrews and his wife, Sylvana Tomaselli. The two married in 1988. The Earl of St. Andrews is the son of the Duke of Kent who is cousin to Her Majesty The Queen. Lady Amelia has two older siblings, Lord Downpatrick and Lady Marina Charlotte Windsor.
Princess Olympia is the oldest child of Pavlos, the Crown Prince and Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece. When she was aged seven, her parents move back to London so the young Princess could see more of her grandparents, King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie.
The 21-year-old is Goddaughter to the Prince of Wales, and it is known that Prince Charles once took her to see Shrek the Musical as a treat in London.
