Dressed in a delightful raspberry pink outfit, Her Majesty joined friends and other spectators at the Royal Windsor Cup Polo match on Sunday, just a day after her week-long visit to Royal Ascot.

The day went off without any hitches until a scarf blew into Her Majesty’s face due to the breeze.

Actress Gillian Anderson watched from the sidelines with a horrified expression on her face as she realised what was happening.

The scarf’s owner looked equally mortified and quickly rescued the situation.

Despite the wind, the 93-year-old had a tremendous day in Windsor and presented the trophy to the winning team.

The Royal Windsor Cup polo final is usually attended by The Queen each year alongside her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Philip wasn’t present at this year’s match as he is currently staying in Sandringham, although he is being kept busy and conducted an official engagement last week.
