A spokeswoman for Zara and Mike Tindall have announced that the couple have lost their baby during pregnancy.
Today’s announcement comes just four weeks after the couple revealed how excited they were to be expecting another child.
The Queen’s granddaughter was expecting to give birth to her second child next Spring.
The spokeswoman said: “Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy.”
Buckingham Palace has refused to comment, saying it is a private matter.
The couple, who were married in 2011, already have a daughter, Mia, who will turn three-years-old next month.
