Summer pictures released of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar

Three summer pictures have been released by the Royal Court of Sweden of the two children of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, seven-year-old Princess Estelle and three-year-old Prince Oscar.

The images were taken in the gardens of the family’s home at Haga Palace by Linda Broström in June. There is one image of the siblings together and a photo each of the young royals solo. Princess Estelle is seen blowing away dandelion seeds while Prince Oscar is holding a small green caterpillar.

Princess Estelle just finished her first year of school at Campus Manilla for the final year of pre-school. She will begin compulsory school in the autumn.

This is the second set of photos released of the second and third-in-line to the Swedish throne this month. As per tradition, the Royal Court released new photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar on National Day (6 June) in celebration of the national holiday showing the Princess in the Swedish national dress.

The Crown Princess Family regularly releases images of their two children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar to the media and Swedish public. They traditionally release photos on their birthdays, Sweden’s National Day, and Christmas, as well as other important events. As a result, the Swedish public and media leave the family alone in public; you don’t see paparazzi on the streets following them as they conduct their day-to-day private lives.

Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland, was born 23 February 2012 at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, Sweden. Prince Oscar, Duke of Skåne, was born 2 March 2016 at the same hospital.
