On Thursday, 4 August Her Royal Highness Princess Sofia of Sweden attended an Industry Day at Hotel Skansen in Bastad which marked the beginning of a new partnership between Boundless Meetings and Project Playground.
The main focus of the new partnership – which began in June of this year – is opening up discussions and partnerships between people and organisations of different backgrounds, something close to the heart of Project Playground, of which Princess Sofia is the honorary president.
The theme for the day was ‘A Sustainable Tomorrow’ and featured speakers included Sweden’s former Prime Minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, and John Hope Bryant, an advisor to several US presidents. Following the event, a fundraising dinner was held where a successful auction helped to raise funds for Project Playground programs in both Sweden and South Africa.

More on Boundless Meetings:
Boundless Meetings aim to broaden horizons and create opportunities for new encounters and relationships by helping to facilitate the creation and development of communities of people with the same values, but different frames of reference, experience, training, skills and attitudes. It’s through this diversity that boundaries are blurred and overcome and innovation in the venues and performance models is achieved.
