During the participation of Her Royal Highness, Princess Sofia chose to focus on the United Nations global sustainability goals and future goals towards 2030. This is also an area in which Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has worked a great deal with the recent years.

“We are looking forward to tomorrow, but in order to reach the United Nation`s global goal`s, everybody has to do what is in its power to make the necessary change. Therefore, we have chosen to collaborate with Project Playground”, says Bo Nilson, the founder of “Limitless Meetings”.

After the seminar, there was held a charity dinner at Norrviken Gardens. One of the artists who performed at the dinner was the well-known Swedish singer Carola who has participated on the behalf of Sweden several times in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The visit to the seminar was Princess Sofia`s last known official engagement before her second child is born in September.

Project Playground is a non-profit organisation which focuses on improving life opportunities for children and young people. It was founded in 2010 by Princess Sofia of Sweden and Frida Vesterberg. The organisation has operated in South Africa since 2010 and Sweden since 2016.  The new Swedish operation focuses on the many unaccompanied refugee children who have relocated to the Scandinavian country from their war-torn nations.
