Princess Madeleine of Sweden has shared several new personal photos of her children, Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas with a 2017 greeting.
With the four images, Madeleine said, “A very Happy New Year to all of you from Leonore & Nicolas!” Two pictures feature two-year-old Leonore and one-year-old Nicolas bundled up in the snow, while the other two show the toddlers in the chalet where they were staying.
Princess Madeleine often shares images of her children, nieces, nephews, and other family members on her official Facebook page. Her Royal Highness utilises her social media page to promote the causes close to her heart.
The photos were taken while the family vacationed in the Swiss Alps last week with Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf.
The Queen recently recovered from her cold that resulted in her hospitalisation on her birthday, 23 December, through Christmas Day morning.
Queen Silvia had been battling a cold for a time, but dizziness resulted in her being taken to Danderyd Hospital for observation and tests. Princess Madeleine travelled with her mother and stayed overnight. Other members of the family visited Her Majesty while she was in the hospital, and luckily, she was able to spend Christmas Day back home at Drottningholm Palace.
Last week, the Royal Court of Sweden posted an image of Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf in the Swiss Alps on their official Instagram where they were able to enjoy a short holiday before getting back to work this week.
