Yesterday at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene brought their two-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, along to distribute Christmas gifts at the Palace. This event occurs every year before Christmas at the Prince’s Palace, and over 600 children were invited this year.
Prince Albert’s niece and nephew, Louis Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, also helped to hand out the presents. Louis and Camille are the children of Albert’s younger sister, Princess Stéphanie.
The children, who were all decked out in Santa hats, were also greeted by a snowman, bunny, and Santa himself.
Little Jacques stayed with his parents longer at the event and was pictured in the group photo with his parents, cousins, and lucky children. He was also seen interacting with Santa, the snowman, and bunny. However, Gabriella began to cry in her mother’s arms when she came face to face with the white rabbit, and she left the event soon after.
This is the second Christmas-themed event they have attended alongside their parents during the festive season. The family of four enjoyed time at the Christmas Village on the Port of Hercules Pier, where Albert had been surprised by Charlene and the twins after declaring the market open on 3 December.
Gabriella and Jacques just turned two on the 10th of December and celebrated with a jungle themed party on 7 December at the Société Nautique de Monaco on Le Petit Train with their daycare friends, children of palace employees around the same age, and their godparents.
They also made a rare public appearance for Monaco’s National Day on 19 November. They were seen in the arms of their parents to greet the public at the Prince’s Palace from one of the windows at the Palace.
Princess Gabriella, Countess of Carladès, was born on 10 December 2014 at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre. Two minutes later, Jacques, Hereditary Prince of Monaco was born. He also holds the title of Marquis of Baux.
