Hereditary Grand Duchess visits “21 rue la Boetie” exhibit

Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited the “21 rue la Boetie” exhibition yesterday in Liège, Belgium, at the Museum of Boverie. The State Secretary for Culture, Guy Arendt accompanied her on the trip. She was also with Anne Sinclair, the author who wrote the book 21 rue La Boétie (Grasset). “21 rue la Boetie” has been based on her writings.

Stéphanie, who was born and raised in Belgium, spoke with Ms Sinclair about the exhibit and her book. The exhibit consists of 60 pieces of art from Picasso, Braque, Matisse, Léger, Laurencin and André Masson. Many of these art pieces have never before been on display in Belgium.

Anne Sinclair’s book tells of her grandfather, Paul Rosenberg’s stories. He is considered one of the greatest art dealers in the first half of the last century.
