The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth within the next week, and as the days go by it is becoming more possible the royal baby will share its birthday with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Camilla’s birthday falls on July 17, and Prince William and Kate’s first child is due around mid-July.
“It’s around mid-July, but babies have their own agenda,” pregnant Kate revealed earlier this year.
The Royal Baby could share its birthday with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Prince Charles’ wife Camilla was born on July 17th 1947 and the royal is due to celebrate her 66th birthday this year. Earlier this week, Camilla revealed how she is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the royal baby.
“We are very excited, immensely looking forward to it and waiting for that call,” the Duchess revealed on Thursday.
Camilla was speaking to reporters as she attended the preview day of the Coronation Festival, which is a three-day celebration marking the Queen’s 60th anniversary of coming to the throne.
Joining the Queen, Camilla and other members of the Royal Family were given a tour of the event which is being held in the stunning gardens of Buckingham Palace.
The event was organised by the Royal Warrant Holders Association, Media 10 and the Royal Household, who have all been planning the event for four years.
Media 10’s co-founder Lee Newton joked this weekend pregnant Kate’s due date had added extra pressure to the weekend.
“Holding the event the same weekend as the nation is due to welcome the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first child, adds to the pressure,” Lee told Royal Central.
