The Duchess of Cambridge spent Father’s Day with her dad, Michael Middleton.
The expectant mum spent the day with her proud father in her hometown of Bucklebury, Berkshire, according to US Weekly.
Kate joined Michael, who walked his daughter down the aisle in 2011, as they enjoyed a lunch together “at a local restaurant,” a source tells the magazine.
The royal has remained close with her family since her wedding to the Prince and the pair have enjoyed several holidays with Michael and mother Carole.
The two spent the day together just a month before the Duchess welcomes her first child with husband Prince William.
William did not attend the lunch as he spent the day at a charity polo match at the Beaufort Polo Club, Terbury in Gloucestershire, as he played against brother, Prince Harry.
Father’s Day came just a day after the Duchess of Cambridge made her final public appearance before she gives birth to the future third-in-line.
The mum-to-be joined the Royal Family for the annual Trooping the Colour, which celebrates the Queen’s official birthday.
With just weeks left until the arrival of the royal baby, it is now expected Kate will begin maternity leave as she takes a break from her royal duties to prepare for motherhood.
The royal couple are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first child. “They’re both so excited and have so many questions,” a source told US Weekly.
“They want to know what the baby will look like and who it will take after,” they added.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to welcome their first child in mid-July
