Prince William plans to work right up to Royal Baby’s birth

Prince William is planning to work as much as possible into the days before the Duchess of Cambridge gives birth.

The father-to-be has remained in Anglesey, North Wales, continuing his RAF search-and-rescue job while pregnant Kate has been in London awaiting the arrival of the couple’s first child.

“He wants to work as hard as he can to help everyone out,” a source told E! News. “He has now slowed down at all. He’s a really hard worker.”

Prince William is planning to work right up to the baby’s arrival.

Earlier this week it was revealed a helicopter is waiting on stand-by close to the couple’s Anglesey home. It is believed the helicopter will be used in the event of the Duchess going into labour while William is in Wales.

In recent weeks, Kate has been in London making final preparations for the Royal Baby’s arrival. The mum-to-be has been busy putting the final touches to the couple’s new apartment at Kensington Palace, which is believed to become their official London residence after the birth.

The Duchess is expected to give birth later this week after telling well-wishers earlier this year the baby would be born around mid-July.

“It’s around mid-July, but babies have their own agenda,” the royal said.

After the birth, the couple plan to pose for pictures with the baby as they leave the London hospital.

The new parents will exit through the main doors of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, in London.

“While it is a deeply personal and private event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge realise this is a time of national celebration,” a palace official said. “There will be vast interest in the baby.”

“They realise many people will want to share in their happiness,” they added.
