Phillip Schofield has revealed he would love the royal couple to appear on the hit show ‘All Star Mr and Mrs’.

“It would be great if William and Kate could come on and do it for charity,” Phillip told Now magazine. “We get to talk to people about things we never would on the This Morning sofa.”

Phillip added that he believed the Duchess would win the show, which tests how much each couple know about each other.

“I suspect Kate would win,” he said, adding that he doubts the couple would find the time to take part. “I suppose the ridiculously pigeonholed response would be that William is extremely busy.”

Advertisment

Last week, Prince William and Kate announced plans for Prince George’s christening that will take place on October 23.

The service, which will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, will take place in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace.

It is believed the couple chose the location as they simply preferred the intimate setting.

After the service, photos of the Duke, Duchess, George and the Royal Family will be released. A historic photo of The Queen with the three heirs, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George is reportedly being planned.

I think it is pathetic that everyone seems to assume that the Duchess of Cambridge isn’t also extremely busy. Even if it was done for charity, I can’t see either of them going on a show, that the only aim that I can see for it, is to pry into the private lives of others. And everyone knows just how guarded the Cambridge’s are when it comes to their private lives.
