Former Royal correspondent Jennie Bond has revealed she knows Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will make fantastic parents.
Speaking to The Express, Bond admitted that she believes the royal couple will make great, parents despite the challenges that may lay ahead of them.
The former correspondent also believed that the Royal baby will only fascinate the world even more and the couple will face “baby mania”.
“William and Kate are absolute box office superstars and the media frenzy over them is never going to lessen,” she said.
Bond also added that while Kate has had a normal upbringing, it won’t be the same for the royal baby : “It’s unlikely”, Jennie speculated, adding “but that’s the price you pay for the privilege.”
The royal reporter also added that she believed the duration of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship has helped Kate adjust to life as a royal.
“I think it is really important that she had ten years to get used to the idea of living in the royal goldfish bowl and I think she’ll be OK.”
Jennie also told The Express that she hoped The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby girl.
“I hope it’s a girl,” she said, adding: “We would have a whole new era, not just a new generation because of the changes in the law.
“It would be a fantastic little bit of history – it’s not just a baby this is a key moment in the future of our monarchy.”
