Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and His Royal Highness Prince Harry have, this weekend, set off to attend the wedding of friend Mark Tomlinson who is marrying  Laura Bechtolsheimer in Switzerland today.

The ceremony is due to take place today at a church in the remote town of Arosa in eastern Switzerland. Their Royal Highnesses are among 250 invited guests. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted shortly after arriving in the country wearing large sun glasses and carrying a wooden sleigh.

Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly went skiing shortly after arriving but the Duchess of Cambridge stayed behind, being now about 4 months pregnant.

Their Royal Highnesses and fellow wedding guest dined at a Swiss mountain restaurant.

Laura, the granddaughter of a German billionaire and property magnate, was introduced to Mark by her brother Goetz. The pair became engaged in August last year. Princes William and Harry have played polo with Mark for many years and the Prince of Wales is a close friend of his parents, Simon and Claire.
