The Duchess of Cambridge will be a hands-on mother to her and Prince William’s first child Prince George, a butcher from her hometown has claimed.

“I think Kate will be hands-on most of the time,” Bucklebury butcher, Martin Fider has predicted. “She’ll be just like her mother. A very caring person, especially where her child’s concerned.”

The butcher, who has seen the Duchess grow up in the Berkshire village, also believes the royal baby will grow up with the best of both worlds from the Royal Family and the Middletons.

“I think the baby will have the best of all worlds because of the upbringing it will get,” Martin told E! News. “It’s a great mixture and I think the royalty will have one of the greatest mixtures going in this country.”

Last Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child, Prince George, when Kate gave birth to the baby boy, weighing 8Ibs 6oz.

Prince George of Cambridge, as he will be titled, was delivered at the Lindo Wing in St Mary’s Hospital Paddington, London. The proud parents left a day later giving the world the first glimpse of the future King.

After a visit from The Queen and Prince Harry at Kensington Palace, the couple are now residing at the Middleton’s family home in Bucklebury, where it is expected they will stay for at least two weeks.
