Duchess of Cambridge or Elsa? A 'Frozen' Day in Harlem

<![CDATA[Let it go, Let it go. Wait, no.. I don't want to let it go, today was incredible! Despite freezing temperatures (I'm not sure I have ever been that cold) in New York City, it will be nearly impossible to forget the wonderful morning had with The Duchess of Cambridge in Harlem.

My day may have begun with falling on black ice (a sign of the weather we were dealing with in the city) but it quickly turned around as I arrived at Northside Center in Harlem, a center which provides mental health services for youth.
Without knowing anything further, you would already know that this would be a perfect engagement for The Duchess.
Catherine is involved heavily with youth back in Britain through her patronages including EACH Hospices, where we frequently see her out in support. In Harlem, Kate was joined by the First Lady of New York City Chirlane McCray to do arts and crafts and wrap gifts with the little ones – who were adorable.
After standing outside in the cold for hours, watching two young children present the First Lady and The Duchess with roses was enough to melt your cold heart. Just like Elsa’s love for her sister in Frozen, to whom Kate was compared to today.
Yes, in an unbelievably cute turn of events the children at the center (aged 3-4) thought that Kate was Princess Elsa coming to play with them. Kate, who didn’t appear to have on a very warm coat and thin tights, took the time to greet all of the families on her way out.
After seeing photos and videos of her interacting with children and families this way for years, it was very special to see her in the moment with them. You think you know how she is with the children, but seeing a little girl stick her nose in Kate’s roses to literally smell them, and the flower boy hamming it up turning and waving to the crowds and cameras is another thing entirely.
The cold never bothered me anyway!
