The Duchess Of Cambridge today showed off her baby bump at a charitable engagement for Action on Addiction and has admitted being apprehensive about giving birth. The Duchess, currently now mid-way through her pregnancy, was visibly tanned after her holiday in Mustique and looked in excellent health as she attended her first major public engagement for quite a while.
The Duchess Of Cambridge said it would be ‘unnatural’ if she wasn’t nervous about giving birth and was visibly happy showing off her baby bump to the mass of photographers and media personnel gathered outside.
When one person asked the Duchess whether she was nervous about having a child she said, “It’s just human, isn’t it?”. The Duchess received many warm congratulations today as her pregnancy advances towards its later stages and with the Duchess expected to being giving birth in July.
Her Royal Highness wore a Max Mara dress which appeared to be loose fitting, maternity-style clothing.
This engagement was the Duchess Of Cambridge’s first official engagement of 2013.
