Anglesey Asda reserves parking spot for Duchess of Cambridge and baby

New parents might need a little help, especially when the eyes of the world are upon them! Thanks to an ASDA store in Llangefni, Anglesey, the load should be a bit lighter for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Photographers have caught the Duchess of Cambridge shopping at the local ASDA several times in the past and the Llangefni store manager, Peter Ellis, would like to make shopping trips easier for the first time mother-to-be.

“The Duchess of Cambridge has graced the store with her regal presence several times before,” Ellis told the British press, “We hope that the addition of her own parking space will entice her and her little Prince or Princess <NAME> of Cambridge back to Asda.

As Kate’s often busy with official duties, customers that fancy their own bit of royal treatment can park their carriages there.”

With a “Royal Guard” in front of the parking spot, which is closely located in the front of the store, the Duchess can easily locate the space, and quickly dash inside if need be.

As an ASDA spokeswomen said, “It’s created a lot of excitement amongst our customers who, like us are looking forward to the birth of the royal baby.”
